ThinkFest
The Festival brings together distinguished academics, writers, poets, artists, analysts, and performers from all over the world. The keynotes are by the 2011 Nobel Peace laureate, Tawakkol Karman and Lately Chairman of the Conservative Party, UK, Rt. Hon. Baroness Warsi. The Alhamra Art Council will be converted into an interactive space for panel discussions, theater performances, an art exhibition curated by Asad Hayee tited ‘Who’s afraid of Pakistani Art?’, a special exhibition titled ‘Envisioning Borders’ on the Partition of 1947 by distinguished artist Farida Batool, a Film Festival featuring international films from 6 continents, a Speaker’s corner for author meet and greet, book signings, cultural performances and a music concert. There will also be a great and enticing spread of food stalls and art merchandise available.
