Hunter Economic Breakfast / Faculty of Business and Law / Events / The University of Newcastle, Australia

Is Newcastle winning or losing the innovation game? Are we tapping into our entrepreneurial talent? How can companies, big and small, be more innovative?

Keynote speaker, James O’Loughlin, will speak about how innovation happens in companies and for individuals. He will draw on his broad experience and utilise examples from Newcastle and the Hunter.

James will be joined by local entrepreneur, Heath Raftery from Newie Ventures, and UON’s Manager of the Integrated Innovation Network, Siobhan Curran, for a Q&A discussion.

Join us for our final breakfast for 2018 where HRF Centre Lead Economist, Dr Anthea Bill, will present her insights for the macro economy and discuss innovation and untapped benefits to the Hunter.
