Centre for Organic Electronics Winter School / Faculty of Science / Events / The University of Newcastle, Australia

This three day event will give you a taste of the cutting-edge research that is going on in the Centre for Organic Electronics (COE) labs, highlighting the advantages of considering a career in research.

The school involves a mixture of lectures, demonstrations, a think tank and hands-on learning experiences. Highlights include:

  • Fabrication of your own organic solar cell and transistor that you can take home
  • Hands-on operation of the COE’s facilities
  • Creating your own solutions to energy and sensor problems during a think tank session
  • Prizes for the best devices and best solutions on the last day of the school

Time: 9am – 5pm each day except the last day, which goes until 3pm.

Lunch and morning tea are provided. Attendance is FREE but a $10 booking fee is required upon registration of your interest to assist with securing places, this fee will be refunded to students upon attendance at the event.
