Nouns

1- Denoting agent or doer

Words ending with ster ; spinster, punster, songster.
Words ending with ter (-ther) ; daughter, father.
Words ending with er (-ar, -or, -yer); painter, baker, beggar, sailor, lawyer.

2- Verbs

Words ending with se, to make ; cleanse, rinse.
Words ending with er, intensive or frequentative: chatter, glitter, glimmer, fritter, flutter.
Words ending with en, causative, forming transitive verbs; weaken, sweeten, gladden, deaden, strengthen.

3- Adverbs

Words ending with way, (-ways); straightway, anyway, always.
