All You Need to Know About Working Holiday Visa

A working holiday subclass 417 visa to Australia is specially designed for young travellers who are seeking an extended holiday in Australia, with the benefit of limited work and study rights. As a working holiday visa holder, you can spend 12 months in Australia from the date of your first entry. You can then apply for a second year Working Holiday visa to extend your stay by a further 12 months if you meet specified requirements. From 1 July 2019, eligible applicants can also commence performing specified work to enable them to apply for a third year working holiday visa (as discussed below). This means that you could potentially reside in Australia for up to 3 years on a working holiday visa if you satisfy prescribed requirements.
